Non-acceptance of this present moment appears to be at the root of much of our unhappiness. Even, boredom is the result of this non-acceptance.
Acceptance is the understanding that this moment is what it is and what it is, is perfectly OK.
It is not an agreement but a deeper, more profound understanding of life.
Since the only constant in life is change, learning to accept that when things are going well, to enjoy it because it won’t always be that way.
Consequently, when things are not going well, relax and endure it, because that too will change. It can always be better, it can always be worse. A healthy perspective and heartfelt gratitude can make all the difference.
When can learn to truly be 100% present in the now with full acceptance, we may still experience some pain, but not have to suffer unnecessarily, due to the non-acceptance of moment we are in.
